Title: Cloud Pre-Sales Architect
Reports To: VP of Engineering
Location: Remote
Job Description: At Sterling, cloud computing allows us to modernize and consolidate IT infrastructure, automate workloads, and pursue next-generation innovation. To continue this transformation, we’re seeking an experienced cloud pre-sales architect with expertise in implementing various cloud projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of cloud technologies, platforms, and applications, and the ability to customize solutions to enhance our security and efficiency. Extensive knowledge of cloud architecture and solutioning, along with industry expertise, is essential to keep Sterling at the forefront of technology. The cloud architect will impact the efficiency of cloud sales and contribute to our cloud business growth.
Required Technical Skills: Proficiency in AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle cloud offerings, with the ability to provide architectural design and guidance. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is preferred. General proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
Required Education/Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of experience in the public cloud domain, with prior IT administration experience preferred. Understanding of pre-sales roles in the cloud space is a plus. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or related fields is desirable.
