Job Description
Reports To: VP of Engineering
Location: Remote
At Sterling, cloud computing enables us to modernize and consolidate IT infrastructure, automate workloads, and pursue innovation. We are seeking an experienced cloud pre-sales architect with expertise in implementing various cloud projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud technologies, platforms, and applications, and be capable of customizing solutions to enhance our security and efficiency. Extensive knowledge of cloud architecture, solutioning, and industry trends is essential to keep Sterling at the forefront. The architect will impact the efficiency of Cloud sales and contribute to our cloud business growth.
The candidate should be proficient in AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle cloud offerings, and capable of providing architectural design and guidance. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
A minimum of 2+ years of experience in public cloud is required. Prior IT administration experience is desirable. Knowledge of pre-sales roles in the cloud space is a plus. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or related fields is preferred.
