Job summary

Vizient, Inc. in Irving, TX seeks a skilled DevOps/Cloud Engineer to partner with infrastructure, application development, security and Agile Product teams.

You will design and implement CI/CD requirements across Azure and multi‑cloud environments, automate deployments, monitor pipelines, and improve engineering experiences. This role focuses on governance, security compliance, and evaluating emerging technologies to drive faster, more reliable product releases in a collaborative, inclusive

Qualifications

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or a related role.
• Experience with Java, C#, Python and CI/CD concepts.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
• Experience with cloud services, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Windows Server, Linux, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.
• Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP).
• Experience with open-source technologies and DevOps tooling.
• Azure Architect, DevOps, Administrator, or similar certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and maintain multi-cloud tooling and automation to improve deployment and delivery.
• Collaborate with Agile Product teams to enhance platform capabilities and engineering experiences.
• Configure and support Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and integrations across environments.
• Monitor deployments, pipelines, and system integrity to ensure reliable releases.
• Partner with IT Infrastructure to establish automated code deployments and governance.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and share practical demonstrations with engineering teams.
