Job summary

F5 Networks, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure/Platform Engineer to build and operate a secure, scalable cloud landing zone and platform foundations. You’ll automate governance, create IaC libraries, and enable teams through CI/CD pipelines with GitOps.

You should have hands-on expertise in at least one major cloud (Azure or AWS preferred) and experience with additional clouds like GCP or OCI. The role emphasizes security, FinOps, and end-to-end platform delivery.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience engineering cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Proficient with Terraform, Bicep/ARM, and CloudFormation.
• Solid understanding of FinOps and cost governance.
• Experience delivering platform as a product and working with DevOps teams.
• Familiarity with security, IAM, and compliance controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud landing zones across accounts and org structure.
• Implement policy-as-code governance and guardrails.
• Define and deploy FinOps observability and cost controls.
• Deliver an infrastructure platform as a product for internal developers.
• Develop reusable IaC modules and promote standardized patterns.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform components via GitOps.
• Standardize dev/test/prod environments with cost controls.
• Embed security, encryption, and IAM least privilege in builds and deployments.
• Collaborate in an agile delivery model, SAFe experience is a bonus.
