Job summary

Quanata is seeking a Cloud Enablement Engineer to help advance AWS-based cloud standards and tooling for our software developers. You will enable reliable and rapid delivery of Quanata's offerings by shaping infrastructure, security, and deployment practices across teams.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineers to optimize applications for IaC environments, alongside maintaining automation, monitoring, and training materials to support developer productivity.

Qualifications

• BSCS or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of AWS Cloud Services experience.
• CI/CD experience with GitLab and GitHub.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Bash.
• IaC with Terraform or Pulumi.
• Experience with containerized workloads (ECS, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes).
• Associate-level AWS certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement AWS cloud standards for infrastructure, networking, and software components.
• Support new technologies to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize apps for IaC deployment and security/compliance.
• Maintain automation and deployment processes to improve developer experience.
• Contribute to IaC pattern libraries to enable self-service environment builds.
• Support monitoring and logging solutions for performance and reliability.
• Assist with developer training and platform documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation for internal services.
