Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Cloud Engineer II in its CAF Technology division. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technology field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• 2+ years of experience working in and building infrastructure within a cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).

Responsibilities

• Develop business capabilities and automation that enable internal customers to move quickly and deliver on business needs.
• Collaborate with engineers on design, product management, and systems architecture to develop experimental solutions and bring great ideas to life.
• Share ideas internally and evolve them based on feedback and critique within an agile environment.
• Continually evolve the platform and its operations using solid engineering and agile practices.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve how we work and ensure our customer experience is the best it can be.
• Leverage emerging AI technologies to gain efficiencies and increase time to market for deliverables that enable business capabilities.
