Job summary

Enlighten is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer with AWS expertise, Go programming, and a solid Linux foundation to advance big data and cloud-based solutions. You will contribute to custom components and integrate open-source code to tackle complex problems, working autonomously while aligning with Architects on strategic goals.

The role is in a hybrid environment with 1–2 days per week at the San Antonio, TX office. Competitive salary with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required; security clearance on day one is not required, but may be processed.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a HS diploma with 4 years’ related experience.
• Experience with RESTful web services and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with OOP, agile software lifecycle, and configuration management tools (Git, Nexus, Maven).
• Comfortable on the Linux command line; quick learner and team-oriented.
• DoD 8140/8570 compliance certification required within 60 days; hybrid work 1–2 days/week in San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core architecture and capabilities for software from prototype to operational applications.
• Develop and integrate custom software components; incorporate open-source code for complex problems using Big Data/Cloud tech.
• Collaborate with Architects and the team to meet broader strategic goals; work in a hybrid environment.
