Job summary

Wyetech, LLC is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer with strong AWS experience, Linux foundation, and programming skills in Python or Go. The role focuses on developing custom software components and integrating open-source code for cutting-edge Big Data/Cloud technology.

The position requires hybrid work and US citizenship with active clearance or eligibility. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, proficiency in Kubernetes, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines, and familiarity with DISA Big Data

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s, or 3 years with a Master’s, or 9 years with a High School Diploma.
• Experience deploying infrastructure in AWS.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes (or vendor flavor), Ansible, and storage layers such as Ceph or Longhorn.
• Proficiency in Python or Go and strong Linux systems knowledge.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and agile software development tools.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and enhance existing codebase with new components in cloud environments.
• Define, build, and manage virtual infrastructure in the cloud using IaC.
• Design and implement core architecture from prototype to production applications.
• Collaborate with Architects and teams to achieve strategic goals.
• Work in a hybrid schedule, 1–2 days/week at the Columbia, MD office.
