Zusammenfassung

Ensono is seeking a senior cloud engineer to lead Product Engineering epics and shepherd new public cloud services from concept to deployment. You will shape standards, onboard AWS and GCP offerings, and drive automation using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting across Linux environments.

You will collaborate with Product Management to align cloud solutions with the roadmap while remaining pragmatic, scalable, and secure.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years’ experience in supporting highly customer-focused mission critical environments.
• 5+ years’ experience architecting, engineering, or supporting public cloud solutions on AWS or GCP.
• Current AWS or Google Cloud Certifications (or equivalent knowledge).
• Experience building solutions using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with config management systems (Ansible).
• Excellent Linux OS knowledge (RHCE or equivalent).
• Scripting ability in Python, Perl, or Bash.
• Experience using Git for version control and CI/CD tooling (Jenkins).
• Experience with AWS/GCP CLI and scripting against it.
• Experience working with containerized environments (ECS/EKS/Kubernetes/Docker).
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking fundamentals.
• Prefer ITIL/Agile experience and a computing discipline degree.

Aufgaben

• Act as the lead engineer on Product Engineering epics and stories.
• Develop and operationalize new repeatable Ensono public cloud services and solutions.
• Define and evolve public cloud standards for repeatability, performance, security, and scalability.
• Make recommendations on technical stack including research, bake-offs, and PoCs.
• Onboard new AWS and GCP services aligned with the Product roadmap.
• Drive automated infrastructure deployment using IaC, config management, and scripting.
• Provide SME guidance to pre-sales architects on technical standards.
• Serve as escalation contact for cloud operations on major incidents.
• Stay current on public cloud services and related technologies.
