Job summary

Disney Cruise Line - The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to build and maintain cloud automation and developer tooling on AWS. Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years building on public cloud, preferably AWS.
• Production-quality code in Python/Go/Java/TypeScript.
• Strong networking and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Infrastructure as code and automation workflows (Terraform preferred).
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and repeatable delivery pipelines.
• Linux knowledge and containerized workloads.
• Ability to balance security, reliability, and delivery with pragmatic tradeoffs.
• Clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and fast-changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cloud automation and developer tooling for provisioning, deployment, and day-2 ops in AWS.
• Create and evolve reusable infrastructure-as-code modules and patterns for safe adoption.
• Improve reliability with observability, alerts, and actionable signals.
• Participate in incident response, investigations, and RCAs; implement platform improvements.
• Collaborate with teams to unblock delivery and improve platform capabilities and developer experience.
