Job summary

The Matlen Silver Group, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to join a large-scale Azure cloud infrastructure and data analytics team. You will build secure, scalable cloud solutions using Terraform and IaC, while collaborating with security and development teams in a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities include automating provisioning, landing zones, and CI/CD pipelines, plus designing cloud platform services and playbooks. Strong Python automation and Agile experience are desired.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in enterprise-scale cloud environments.
• Strong hands-on Azure experience.
• 4+ years of Terraform experience developing configurations and modules.
• Experience building IaaS, PaaS, and IaC solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, IAM, landing zones, monitoring, and logging.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code, configuration-as-code, or policy-as-code.
• Strong Python or other infrastructure automation experience.
• Experience with Azure data and analytics services.
• Agile/Scrum experience.

Cloud Platform Engineer

We are seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to join an enterprise technology team supporting large-scale Azure cloud infrastructure and data analytics platforms. This is an ongoing opportunity focused on building secure, scalable, and automated cloud solutions using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code.

Location: Charlotte, NC; Plano, TX; or Jersey City, NJ
Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
Duration: 12+ months
Employment: W2 only
