Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a senior Cloud Platform Architect in San Francisco for a hybrid, full-time role. You will define and drive the architectural vision across global SRE/DevOps operations and guide implementation for a cloud platform serving millions of users.

This hands-on senior IC will balance strategy with engineering, advancing automation, disaster recovery, and compliance across cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes. Strong leadership and IaC skills are essential.

We\'re looking for a hands-on Senior Cloud Platform Architect to lead technical strategy across global SRE and DevOps operations. This is a senior individual-contributor role where you\'ll set the architectural vision, guide implementation, and influence technology decisions for a cloud platform serving millions of users.

You\'ll balance strategic architecture with hands-on engineering, helping move the organisation from manual operations toward automated, intelligent workflows across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, disaster recovery, automation, and compliance.

What you\'ll do
