Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced Senior Software and System Architect to join our Networking Software Architecture group in New York. You will lead architecture for cloud-networking and security solutions, designing state-of-the-art DPUs and NICs while building end-to-end systems from software to hardware.

You will collaborate with global teams, work on cutting-edge networking technologies, and engage with top customers. A strong background in C/Python, Linux, and cloud networking is required.

Qualifications

• B.Sc./M.Sc./PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Architect or Systems Architect; strong software development background.
• Deep knowledge of C and Python.
• Hands-on Linux development experience.
• Cloud-networking experience.
• Broad knowledge of networking protocols and topologies.
• Strong design, coding, analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple teams locally and globally.
• Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture for cloud-networking and security solutions.
• Design state-of-the-art system architecture for DPUs & NICs technologies.
• Build end-to-end solutions from application level to hardware level.
• Provide fast and creative solutions to complex problems.
• Write effective, clear architecture specifications.
• Evaluate new technologies and develop rapid prototypes that can become products.
• Collaborate with global Nvidia teams including software/hardware architects, R&D, product teams and field engineers.
• Engage with high-profile customers on advanced technologies and solutions.
