TEKsystems in Farmington Hills, MI is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer II for a contract-to-hire role. You will design, implement, and support cloud and hybrid networking across AWS, Azure, OCI and on-prem environments, focusing on secure, scalable, and highly available connectivity.

You'll work with infrastructure, security and application teams to improve network performance, reliability and security while supporting cloud adoption.

Description

• The Cloud Network Engineer II is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting cloud and hybrid network infrastructure, with a focus on secure, scalable, and highly available connectivity across AWS, Azure, OCI, and on-premises environments.
• This role requires strong hands-on experience with cloud networking, Cisco and Meraki infrastructure, and multi-cloud connectivity solutions, and is responsible for improving network performance, reliability, and security across hybrid environments while supporting cloud adoption efforts.
• The engineer works closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver stable, efficient, and well-integrated platforms.
• Design and support secure, scalable network solutions across AWS, Azure, OCI, and on-premises environments.
• Build and manage hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity, including VPN, SD-WAN, direct connect services, and Megaport.
• Manage on-premises network infrastructure, including Cisco and Meraki platforms.
• Design and maintain routing, switching, and segmentation (BGP, OSPF, VLANs).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmington Hills, MI.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
