Job summary

Avery Dennison in the United States is hiring a Software Engineer II for a hybrid role requiring 2 days/week in-office. You will design, develop, and support a cloud-native retail management platform called storeLink, working with Azure-based microservices and modern web technologies.

Required BS in CS or related field with 4+ years of experience (MS with 1+ year acceptable). Proficiency in .NET Core, C#, Angular, RESTful APIs, and MS SQL is essential.

Qualifications

• BS in CS, Eng, or related field; 4+ years software dev or MS +1 year.
• Experience building enterprise web apps with .NET Core, C#, Angular, and RESTful APIs.
• Strong MS SQL / T-SQL development, schema design and query optimization.
• Experience with Azure cloud components and CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Full-Stack feature development using .NET Core and Angular.
• Manage MS SQL data structures, Azure AI Search, AKS and related services.
• Integrate storeLink microservices with external REST APIs.
• CI/CD and production support using GitHub Actions.
• Adhere to security controls and participate in agile code reviews.
