Job summary

Woot.com LLC is seeking a software engineer to own strategic projects, design scalable systems, and deliver high-quality AWS-based solutions. You will mentor engineers, review code, and collaborate across product, design, and operations to build decoupled, scalable services.

You will work with technologies like Lambda, Fargate, TypeScript, NextJS, CDK, REST, C#, and DynamoDB, contributing to checkout and post-purchase experiences within the Conversion Team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.

• Technical Ownership & System Design: take full ownership of strategic projects and design fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Code Quality & Engineering Excellence: deliver cloud-first AWS solutions and drive operational excellence.
• Leadership & Mentorship: mentor junior engineers, perform code reviews, and make independent decisions.
