Job summary

Cognivaton is seeking a Java Full Stack Tech Lead with Golang expertise to guide enterprise-scale software programs across several US locations. The role emphasizes cloud-native architectures, scalable microservices, and high-performance backends, with hands-on coding and leadership of multiple development teams.

You will design, review, and optimize systems, mentor engineers, and collaborate with architects, product owners, and DevOps to deliver secure, reliable software across the full stack.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Hands-on Golang (Go) development experience.
• Advanced Java and Spring Boot expertise.
• Strong experience with microservices architecture.
• Full stack development across frontend and backend.
• REST APIs and distributed system design knowledge.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Leading technical teams and mentoring developers.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable enterprise applications using Golang and Java technologies.
• Build and maintain microservices-based architectures and distributed systems.
• Develop robust RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Contribute to full stack application development across frontend and backend components.
• Lead technical design discussions and architecture reviews.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce software development best practices.
• Mentor development teams and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD implementation and deployment automation.
• Develop and optimize containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Integrate applications with cloud-native services and enterprise platforms.
• Troubleshoot application issues and drive performance optimization initiatives.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and support continuous improvement activities.
