Job summary

Veracity Ventures Inc. seeks a Java Developer to design, develop, and support cloud-native financial services apps. You will work across Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure, building scalable APIs and event-driven solutions.

The role requires hands-on coding in Java (8/11/17), Python where needed, and strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD in an Agile/Scrum setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
• 4–7 years of software development experience.
• Strong Java development experience (8/11/17).
• Hands-on Python and Spring Boot experience.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD via GitHub Actions required.
• PostgreSQL or Azure SQL exposure and API design knowledge.
• Mandatory financial services experience and distributed systems exposure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications.
• Build and maintain microservices and REST APIs.
• Develop cloud-native solutions on GCP/AWS/Azure.
• Work with PostgreSQL/Azure SQL and data solutions like BigQuery.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerization with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams in Agile/Scrum.
