Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a versatile Developer / Data Engineer to work across application development, data architecture, and site reliability in a fast-paced startup. You will build cloud-native apps in C#, .NET, and Azure, while shaping data flows and AI/LLMs integration.

You’ll design Microsoft Fabric environments, implement Medallion architecture, and act as 3rd-line support to diagnose complex production issues.

Qualifications

• Strong C# / .NET development experience for APIs and backend systems.
• Hands-on Azure services experience (App Services, Functions, Storage, Service Bus, DevOps).
• Deep understanding of data architecture and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience setting up Microsoft Fabric, Data Lakehouse, or Medallion architecture.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems and identify root causes.
• Exposure to SRE concepts like monitoring and incident management.
• Familiarity with AI/LLMs and related APIs.
• Experience in a startup or small-team environment.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Development: Build and maintain cloud-native apps using C#, .NET, and Azure.
• Data Architecture & Fabric: Design and maintain Fabric environments; Medallion architecture for analytics and self-service.
• Site Reliability & Support: Provide 3rd-line support for production issues across systems.
• Automation & Monitoring: Create deployment automation, observability, and reliability tooling.
• AI & LLM Integration: Prototype and integrate AI-driven solutions to boost self-service and efficiency.
• Collaboration: Partner with engineering, product, and operations to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to standards, docs, and architectural evolution.
