Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10 years of experience in IT or IT project management.
• Experience managing and mentoring software teams.
• Strong cloud-native development and microservices knowledge.
• Hands-on with Solr, Elasticsearch or Endeca.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated tests.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end development and delivery of an enterprise e-commerce platform with high availability and performance.
• Mentor and manage a team of software engineers; conduct performance reviews.
• Lead design and maintenance of cloud-native apps and microservices.
• Implement search features using Solr/Elasticsearch/Endeca including indexing and relevance tuning.
• Develop pipelines for catalog ingestion to support real-time updates.
• Ensure quality with automated tests and CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive Agile practices: sprint planning and backlog management.
• Respond to production issues; perform root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, and design teams on solutions.
• Manage release processes and ensure security/regulatory compliance.
• Identify training needs and lead technical workshops.
