Job summary

Pittsburgh Tomorrow is seeking a Devops Architect to design and implement cloud-native solutions in Pittsburgh, onsite from Day 1. The role focuses on building robust CI/CD pipelines and scalable IaC practices. Strong leadership and collaboration with security and development teams are essential.

The candidate should be proficient in Python/Bash/PowerShell scripting, containerization with Docker, and orchestration with Kubernetes, ensuring secure and reliable deployments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in DevOps architecture
• Expertise with CI/CD tooling and IaC
• Hands-on scripting with Python, Bash or PowerShell
• Knowledge of cloud security, networking and monitoring
• Strong leadership, troubleshooting and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design DevOps architecture and cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Manage containers with Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes.
• Establish monitoring, security and DevSecOps best practices.
• Automate provisioning, deployments and operational processes.
• Collaborate with development, security and operations to improve reliability.
