Job summary

Brooksource in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a hands-on Developer to build modern, scalable applications on-site. You will drive projects from design through deployment, collaborating with architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and product teams to deliver robust cloud-native solutions using AWS services and CI/CD tools in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with JavaScript/Java/Groovy in a hands-on development role.
• Proficiency with React, Spring Boot, Node.js, and Grails in full-stack or backend work.
• Strong experience designing and developing REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience building cloud-native applications in AWS environments.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tooling (prefer Jenkins).
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, design, and implementation of new features across applications.
• Collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and product teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Develop and enhance REST and GraphQL APIs for enterprise applications and integrations.
• Implement automated testing, code quality checks, and security scanning in development workflows.
• Design and develop cloud-native applications using AWS and container-based technologies.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous delivery of high-value software.
