Job summary

Tactacam is seeking a Backend Developer to design, build, and deploy scalable cloud-native backends on AWS using TypeScript. You will work across product and engineering to deliver robust API and data services for web and mobile platforms.

The role requires 3+ years in backend development, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with CDK, DynamoDB, and Lambda is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in backend development or system design.
• Proficient in TypeScript and AWS services.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and serverless architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy backend apps and APIs using TypeScript.
• Define cloud infrastructure with AWS CDK.
• Work with DynamoDB for storage and retrieval.
• Develop serverless functions with AWS Lambda.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to align requirements.
• Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve deployment processes.
• Stay current with AWS best practices.
