We are expanding our AWS GovCloud migration practice and seek an experienced architect to assess portfolios, design secure architectures, and lead complex migrations across enterprise environments.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with MGN, DMS, DataSync, and Migration Hub, plus Terraform-based infrastructure, Landing Zone Accelerator, and secure cross-team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience designing and implementing AWS cloud architectures (preferably AWS GovCloud)
• Hands‑on experience with AWS migration tooling (MGN, DMS, DataSync)
• Strong experience with EC2, EKS, ECS, and cloud-native architectures
• Experience designing hybrid cloud networking (Transit Gateway, Direct Connect)
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform and infrastructure‑as‑code practices
• Understanding of FIPS endpoints and secure data transfer in government environments
• Experience with Landing Zone Accelerator on AWS and AWS Organizations

Responsibilities

• Migrate applications, virtual machines, databases, and file systems to AWS GovCloud
• Deploy compute and container platforms using EC2, EKS, and ECS
• Design hybrid cloud networking architectures using Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and VPNs
• Develop infrastructure using Terraform and other IaC technologies
• Implement standardized environments using Landing Zone Accelerator on AWS (LZA)
• Implement micro-segmentation and security architectures aligned with Zero Trust principles
• Coordinate migration waves across cross-functional technical and business teams
