Job summary

Arnold & Porter is seeking a Cloud Application Engineer to join our Technology team. This role supports Exchange Server/Exchange Online, Azure, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 within a hybrid and remote-friendly environment.

You will assist with device enrollment, policy enforcement, and troubleshooting across messaging and cloud infrastructure while maintaining documentation and adherence to security policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field with relevant experience.
• Experience with Exchange Server/Exchange Online in hybrid environments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure fundamentals and Entra ID concepts including SSO and MFA.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration and apps such as OneDrive, Project, Visio, Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor on-premises Exchange Server and Exchange Online in a hybrid environment.
• Monitor global address list synchronization and mail flow.
• Support configuration of email-security platforms (Cisco IronPort, Abnormal Security).
• Administer Litera Metadact, LISTSERV, and enterprise SaaS tools.
• Assist in configuring Azure resources, Entra ID, SSO, and Conditional Access.
• Provide support for Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word).
• Assist with Intune/Workspace ONE device enrollment and policies.
• Troubleshoot mail delivery with SPF/DKIM/DMARC; manage incidents and documentation.
