Job summary

TENICA is seeking a Cloud ISSE with TS/SCI CI Poly to support a government client in Chantilly, VA. The role focuses on security engineering for cloud environments, RMF compliance, and secure network design.

Responsibilities include evaluating security requirements, advising on cloud-based security controls, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure secure deployments. A strong background in networking and cross-domain considerations is essential.

Qualifications

• Current U.S. Government TS/SCI with CI Poly.
• An Advanced Cyber Certification (DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III).
• Cloud certifications as listed in the qualifications (CSCP, Cloud+ CE, AWS, CCSP, GCCP, Google, CC SK, VCAP, Microsoft Azure).
• At least 3 years of demonstrated experience providing security engineering to cloud capabilities in AWS/Azure or other CSP.
• Excellent communications skills – Verbal and Non-Verbal.
• Knowledge of networking protocols and concepts.
• Knowledge of software defined networking principles and technologies.
• Experience migrating capabilities from on-prem to cloud.
• Knowledge of NIST RMF and cybersecurity principles.
• Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides analytical and technical security recommendations to the customer.
• Lead for identifying security requirements for projects.
• Provides security recommendations for systems using Cloud services.
• Participates in network design reviews and security testing.
• Coordinates with development teams to enforce security standards.
• Identifies security requirements based on RMF or risk.
• Reviews new systems and recommends security improvements.
• Reviews SRTMs, SSPs and IA documentation for completeness.
