Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Technical Program Manager I to lead multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects from start to finish. You’ll plan requirements, manage schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with engineers and executives across the company.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent) and 1 year of program management, plus experience with infrastructure projects and teams. Preferred locations include Reston, VA.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
1 year of experience in program management.
Experience with infrastructure engineering teams or experience in service performance or quality.
Experience with infrastructure projects (e.g., across software, hardware, data center, or networking).

Responsibilities

Review and thoroughly understand Google's network architecture standards.
Communicate with internal business owners to collect drivers and deadlines for delivering colocation space and associated infrastructure.
Design spaces that meet today's needs along with maintain flexibility for the future.
Evaluate data center facilities to ensure they meet internal reliability requirements.
Create high-level project plans that identify resource needs and critical paths.
