Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking a passionate engineer to join a team that owns and operates critical infrastructure systems. The role requires strong Linux skills, SRE background, and experience with automation through scripting.

You will work on scalable, distributed systems in a 24/7 production environment, focusing on reliability, performance, and security for AWS services. Ideally you have experience with Python/Perl/Ruby, networking fundamentals, and a bias toward automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of SRE, systems engineering, or DevOps experience
• Experience with Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, Shell, or equivalents
• Experience working with Linux systems and networking fundamentals
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and related protocols
