Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Infrastructure Security team. You will help develop, assess, and monitor security outcomes for AWS infrastructure, aligning with NIST, FedRAMP, ISO and AWS standards.

Responsibilities include building monitoring and reporting capabilities for ongoing security compliance and working with diverse teams to deliver high-quality, secure software in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the development, assessment, and analysis of security outcomes for AWS Infrastructure (networking, supply chain security and/or data center compliance) in accordance with NIST, FedRAMP, ISO and AWS standards.
• Lead in the development of monitoring and reporting capabilities for continued security compliance.
