Job summary

Scale AI, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Security Engineer to secure large cloud environments, orchestrate compute clusters, and review infrastructure as code. You will implement robust security configurations across multi-cloud platforms and drive automation while mentoring teammates.

The role requires collaboration with DevEx, IT, and product teams to embed security throughout the infrastructure lifecycle and to stay ahead of evolving threats. This full-time position is based in major U.S.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Security Engineer with a focus on product security.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience leading security initiatives and driving improvements.
• Relevant security certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Secure infrastructure across large cloud hosting providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Implement and maintain robust security configurations and policies for cloud environments.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
• Develop and enforce security best practices for automation and orchestration.
• Collaborate with DeveloperExperience, IT, and product teams to embed security throughout the lifecycle.
• Review and secure infrastructure as code such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Educate and mentor team members on infrastructure security best practices and emerging threats.
