Job summary

Griffin Global Systems seeks a senior cloud engineering leader with 10+ years in DevOps, platform, or data/ML engineering to guide multi-cloud migrations and tooling modernization.

You will drive IaC, containerization, and CI/CD initiatives across DevOps, MLOps, and DataOps, mentoring engineers and aligning stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Cloud, DevOps, Platform, or Data/ML Eng, incl. 2+ years leading engineers.
• Expert Terraform with modules, state management, multi-environment design.
• Deep AWS and Azure experience, familiarity with GCP; proven cloud migration.
• Hands-on Kubernetes (EKS, AKS) and ArgoCD or Flux.
• Production GitHub Actions, Git workflows, and scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell).
• Enterprise SSO (Entra ID, SAML, OIDC, SCIM) and Linux/Windows Server admin.
• Lead teams across DevOps, MLOps, and DataOps.
• Strong communication for leadership alignment and AI-assisted tooling.

Required Qualifications

• Leadership & Experience: 10+ years in Cloud, DevOps, Platform, or Data/ML Engineering, including 2+ years managing or leading engineers.




• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Expert, hands‑on Terraform (modules, state management, multi‑environment design).




• Multi-Cloud Expertise: Deep hands‑on experience with AWS and Azure (networking, IAM/RBAC, compute, security); familiarity with GCP. Proven cloud migration track record.




• Containerization & GitOps: Hands‑on Kubernetes (EKS, AKS) and ArgoCD or Flux.




• CI/CD & Automation: Production GitHub Actions (or equivalent), Git workflows, and scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).




• Identity & OS: Enterprise SSO (Entra ID, SAML, OIDC, SCIM) and dual administration of Linux and Windows Server.




• Cross-Domain Breadth: Ability to lead teams across DevOps, MLOps, and DataOps.




• Communication & Modern Tooling: Strong communication for leadership alignment, team mentorship, and practical use of AI-assisted development tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• MLOps & DataOps Tooling: Experience with MLflow, SageMaker, Azure ML, or DB change management (Liquibase/Atlas).




• AI & Migration: Custom MCP server development and experience driving toolchain migrations (e.g., Azure DevOps to GitHub).




• Databases & App Modernization: Azure SQL/Managed Instance experience and containerizing legacy applications (.NET/WebForms).




• Certifications: AWS, Azure, or HashiCorp Terraform certifications.

Compensation: $185,000 per year
