Job summary

Arcesium seeks an exceptional Infrastructure Intern to join our Technology team for the summer. The role spans systems infrastructure and software development for a modern cloud-based SaaS platform.

You will work with full-time engineers focusing on automating and scaling our cloud environment, including Linux, Kubernetes/Docker, and SRE practices. A housing stipend is included in the compensation package.

Qualifications

• Broad grasp of automation, Linux, networking, security, cryptography, cloud computing, systems administration, and software development.
• Ability to code and to communicate clearly, both written and verbal.
• Experience with the listed technologies (Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, Python, Haskell, Java, Kerberos, DNS, AWS, SSH, IPSec, Ansible, NFS, Git) is valued.

Responsibilities

• Help implement next-generation architecture and automation for the cloud environment of our SaaS platform.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of the infrastructure, with exposure to Linux, AWS, Kubernetes/Docker, and SRE.
• Collaborate with application teams to optimize integration between software and infrastructure.
• Assist with various projects, including CI automation, self-service capabilities, and enhancements to secrets management.
