Job summary

Talentifyy is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for a permanent remote contract on EST schedule. You will architect and optimize scalable IaaS/PaaS in multi-tenant clouds, write modular Terraform code, and manage production Kubernetes clusters.

Onsite client visits in Trivandrum or Kochi may be required prior to onboarding. We require 10+ years of cloud/infra experience, strong IaC, CI/CD, and policy-as-code expertise.

Qualifications

Detailed Job Description

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer supporting Talentifyy on a remote contract basis (EST shift), you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of multi-tenant cloud configurations, infrastructure automation, GitOps pipelines, and cloud security governance. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing modular Terraform templates, managing production Kubernetes cluster operations, implementing CI/CD pipelines and policy-as-code frameworks, writing automation scripts in Python, Bash, and PowerShell, and collaborating directly with multidisciplinary software development and platform engineering squads. Note that candidates are required to visit the client location in Trivandrum or Kochi before formal onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud IaaS and PaaS environments covering compute, storage, networking, and databases.
• Build and maintain modular Terraform codebases and reusable deployment templates for standardized infrastructure provisioning.
• Manage production Kubernetes cluster operations, container orchestration, and high-availability multi-tenant configurations.
• Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and automated software release cycles.
• Design and enforce policy-as-code frameworks, infrastructure security hardening, IAM controls, and network security policies.
