Job summary

Epiq AI Labs is hiring a cloud infrastructure engineer to design, build, and operate the platform's core infrastructure. You will own Terraform modules, Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD pipelines, and security posture, collaborating with backend, AI, product, and security teams.

The role requires 3+ years in infra or SRE, hands-on with AWS/GCP/Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, and observability tools. Office presence 3–4 days weekly, with a compensation range of $145k–$195k, plus potential annual bonus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or SRE.
• Hands-on production infra experience with at least one major cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience with Terraform and reusable module design.
• Production Kubernetes experience including scaling and troubleshooting.
• Ownership of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or similar).
• Observability tooling experience and defining service-level objectives.
• Experience with secrets management and security/compliance controls.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure with Terraform modules.
• Operate Kubernetes in production including scaling and governance.
• Build and maintain CI/CD and release infrastructure with progressive delivery.
• Define platform SLIs/SLOs and implement monitoring and alerting.
• Implement security and compliance infrastructure including audit logging.
• Manage network, secrets, TLS, and certificate lifecycle tooling.
• Contribute to incident response, post-incident reviews, and architecture docs.
