Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc. is seeking a senior IT infrastructure leader to drive vision and execution for cloud-based platforms across PaaS, SaaS, hosted, and on-premises solutions.

You will work with IT teams to deploy flexible, secure, cost-conscious cloud-like services while maintaining legacy integrations where needed. The role progresses from Level I to IV, with responsibilities spanning design, documentation, budgeting influence, automation, and mentorship of others.

Qualifications

• Level I requires seven years of related work experience in lieu of a degree, or an associate degree with four years of experience; bachelor's preferred.
• Awareness of security, compliance and audit policies and procedures.
• Experience with design, research, and implementation in assigned technologies.
• Strong scripting and automation capabilities and excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a high-level escalation tier for operational support in assigned technical areas.
• Leads infrastructure design and production deployment documentation.
• Researches and implements hybrid cloud technology and supports enterprise server strategies.
• Mentors Level I–IV engineers and contributes to automation workflows.
