Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a senior cloud infrastructure engineer to architect and build scalable, secure services powering ML and synthetic data platforms.

You will craft end‑to‑end cloud solutions, implement microservices and APIs, and optimize data storage and inter‑service communication for high throughput and low latency. You will work closely with ML engineers and data scientists, mentoring peers and shaping technical direction while applying security‑mocused, rigorous engineering practices

Qualifications

• BS and 10+ years of industry experience.
• 5+ years building and operating cloud infrastructure or distributed systems at scale.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, EKS, S3, ELB, SQS).
• Production experience with Kubernetes and IaC tooling (Terraform).
• Strong Go (Golang) skills for systems development.
• Designs microservices architectures and works with relational and NoSQL stores.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for ML and synthetic data platforms.
• Design and implement microservices and APIs from design through production deployment.
• Build and optimize storage, messaging, and service‑to‑service communication for high throughput and low latency.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code and automation for reliable environments.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering best practices and technical direction.
