Job summary

Oracle is seeking engineers to design, architect, and build large-scale distributed systems for its Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The role focuses on developing services that scale across regions, with emphasis on resilience, observability, and automation.

You will collaborate with multiple teams and influence architectural choices while mentoring other engineers. The position is based in Nashville, TN, and requires full-time in-office work with a strong emphasis on delivering robust cloud

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of total software development experience
• Experience with large-scale distributed services infrastructure
• Experience with writing production-grade code in Java/Go/C#/OO languages
• Experience delivering full software development lifecycle
• Experience operating mission-critical services in production

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and build large-scale distributed systems for OCI
• Drive development of services and frameworks to solve complex networking challenges at scale
• Collaborate across teams to design unified, automated, observable systems
• Lead technical direction for high-impact projects and mentor engineers
• Improve service reliability, latency, and automation via tooling and metrics
• Influence OCI architecture and roadmaps with senior leadership
• Foster collaboration, innovation, and accountability across the team
