Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to manage C2 software for the AOC WS, with a focus on installation, configuration, and operations. The role covers cloud strategy, app integration, and system-wide compliance in Hampton, VA.

Requirements include a DoD-level security clearance, US citizenship, and experience with AWS, Windows/Linux, and automation tools. Salary range is $130,000–$150,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 9+ years of experience, or Master’s with 7+ years; certifications may substitute.
• 1+ years in software development or DevOps/DevSecOps environments.
• CompTIA Security+ or DoD IAT Level II baseline, or willingness to obtain within 30 days of start.
• Experience with Windows Server operating systems.
• Experience with Ansible and/or PowerShell.
• Experience with Git-based source control tools (GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket).
• Familiarity with Terraform and infrastructure automation.
• Know-how of DoD cybersecurity controls, scans, remediation.
• Familiarity with AWS, Linux, and GitLab CI/CD.
• US Citizenship and a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Builds VM-based systems in AWS and on-premises edge environments.
• Applies cybersecurity controls and configures cloud resources.
• Develops automation code (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python/Bash).
• Creates and troubleshoots CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintains documentation and collaborates with AppTX and stakeholders.
• Adheres to Git-based configuration management processes and IaC/ConIaC practices.
