Job summary

Capgemini in Atlanta seeks a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to own OS baseline automation, image creation, and multi-cloud infrastructure. You will implement Chef, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) to build and validate secure AMIs and image galleries, and ensure compliance.

This role partners with Capgemini teams to maintain patching, hardening, and global image replication across regions.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Chef for OS baseline configuration.
• Ownership of Golden Image / AMI engineering incl. patching, hardening, validation, versioning.
• Experience building AWS AMIs and Azure Shared Image Gallery images with security/monitoring agents.
• Proficient in Terraform across AWS and Azure, with secure defaults and CI/CD integration.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps for image builds and IaC workflows.
• Familiar with Test Kitchen, InSpec, Terraform fmt/validate/lint.

Responsibilities

• Own OS baseline configuration using Chef cookbooks and Ruby DSL.
• Manage Golden Image/AMI lifecycle, patching, hardening, validation, versioning.
• Create and maintain AWS AMIs and Azure Shared Image Gallery images with security agents.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules and secure defaults for multi-cloud.
• Automate image builds with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
