Job summary

AKTRA INC. is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer in McLean, VA with 3+ years of AWS design and support experience. The role focuses on hands-on AWS services like EKS, CloudFormation, and automation using Python/Shell.

You will implement CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and secure access controls through SCP, KMS and IAM policies. Responsibilities include deploying CloudFormation templates, automating infrastructure, and managing authentication policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of AWS design and support in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on with EKS, CloudFormation, Python, and Shell scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Artifactory) and source control (Git/Bitbucket).
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence for ticketing and collaboration.
• Strong Linux, containers, databases, networking and cloud security concepts.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
