Overview

This role is designed to support the transition to Microsoft Azure for large enterprise companies over a 6-month contract. The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will be instrumental in building templates, creating stop-gap solutions, generating reports, automating processes, managing spend utilization, and providing training.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Azure Transition Support: Facilitate the migration of enterprise infrastructure to Microsoft Azure, ensuring minimal disruption.
  2. Template Development: Design and optimize templates for efficient Azure infrastructure deployment and management.
  3. Stop-Gap Solutions: Implement interim solutions to maintain operational continuity during the transition.
  4. Reporting: Develop detailed reports on Azure spend utilization and runtime recommendations to optimize costs and performance.
  5. Automation: Create and implement automation scripts to streamline Azure infrastructure operations and improve efficiency.
  6. Training: Provide comprehensive training and support to internal teams on Azure infrastructure technologies, best practices, and new processes.
Qualifications
  1. Experience: Proven experience in transitioning large enterprise companies to Microsoft Azure, with a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure challenges and best practices.
  2. Technical Skills: Expertise in Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including knowledge of Azure architecture, services, and tools.
  3. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex Azure infrastructure migration issues.
