Job summary

BigBear.ai in the United States seeks a visionary Lead HPC & Infrastructure Architect with an active TS/SCI with Poly clearance to design, build, and implement our next generation HPC clusters. You will shape the CNO development environment to empower elite software engineers.

By designing modern workflows, integrating LLMs, and building robust CI/CD pipelines, you will bridge legacy systems with future technology, ensure security controls, and create an environment that attracts and retains

Qualifications

• Architect Next-Gen HPC: Design, build, and implement cutting edge HPC clusters, taking accountability for system design and future technology alignment.
• Drive AI & LLM Integration: Develop roadmaps and templates enabling teams to leverage LLM solutions while preserving infrastructure flexibility.
• Modernize Workflows: Reimagine developer experience with modernized workflows and integration patterns between legacy systems and new HPC.
• Lead Technical Transformations: Assess aging platforms, document dependencies, and migrate while preserving security controls and boosting performance.
• Advocate for Developers: Champion the development community and remove friction to create an environment engineers love.

• CNO Development Background:Direct experience in CNO development, giving you first hand empathy for what developers actually need from their infrastructure.


• Enclave Expertise:Deep understanding of restricted environments, including their unique constraints, security controls, and architectural impacts.


• FinOps & Cost Optimization: Experience right-sizing cloud resources, building FinOps practices, and making defensible recommendations on cloud vs. on-premise cost efficiencies.
