Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in the United States is seeking an Infra Delivery Install Technician to move and install large enterprise equipment at AWS data centers.

You will install fiber and copper cabling, follow safety standards, and travel between sites to support 24/7 operations. This role requires hands-on hardware installation experience, ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and willingness to work variable shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience with network hardware: copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, routers
• 18+ months in data center or critical environment or similar technical roles
• 18+ months with network cabling, optic types, and test equipment (VFL, power meter, OTDR)

Responsibilities

• Moving and implementing large enterprise equipment
• Installing Fiber and Copper cabling between equipment and patching cabling
• Ensuring proper safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation
• Following well established hardware installation procedures and break‑fix activities
• Safely using material handling tools and equipment
• Traveling within and outside of the regional work area is required.
