Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Implementation Specialist to deliver cloud-based SaaS solutions to the public safety sector. The role focuses on evaluating readiness, streamlining legacy workflows, and ensuring enterprise units are equipped to maximize cloud-native environments.

You will collaborate across teams to drive activation, configurations, and training, maintaining high customer satisfaction. 4+ years in cloud implementation and knowledge of Java/C++/Ruby, SQL, VMware are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years operating at the intersection of business operations, project management, and cloud implementation in Enterprise, Public Safety or Government systems software implementation.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or a related technical field preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed.
• Excellent investigative and debugging skills.
• Excellent problem solving skills, verbal and written communication skills, ability to work under strict deadlines and interact with customers of varying experience levels.
• Demonstrated ability to research and resolve problems using a variety of tools.
• Knowledge of programming languages (Java, C++, Ruby).
• Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
• Knowledge of web services/web technology (HTML, CSS, XML, JSON).
• Knowledge of VMware, managing Virtual Machines.

Responsibilities

• Drive On-Time Activation and Delivery: Initiate, Plan, Execute, Monitor, Control and Solve.
• Validate scope and goals, document and track deliverables and milestones.
• Stakeholder Management: Cross-functional alignment across varied enterprise groups.
• Risk Management: Manage timeline and mitigate risks; escalate as needed.
• Leadership: Guide the client project team and alignment with objectives.
• Respond to requests for assistance in a timely manner.
• Manage resolution of technical and non-technical issues.
• Troubleshoot a broad range of technical issues on the application and OS levels.
• Installation, migration and upgrade of products on accelerated time schedules.
• Develop a full understanding of all products.
• Create or contribute to process documentation and improvements.
• Write Standard Operating Procedures when required.
• Create and review knowledge base documentation and FAQs.
• Conduct training on various Products and Services.
