Job summary

Atlantic Health System in Morristown, NJ seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer II—Cloud Security and Identity to fortify our cloud and identity controls, focusing on AWS and Entra ID, with CNAPP tooling like Wiz.

You will design, implement, and operate security controls, manage IAM and conditional access, participate in incident response, and contribute to risk-based remediation in a healthcare environment with HIPAA requirements. This role supports a rotating on‑call schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field preferred.
• Cloud certifications such as AWS Security Specialty or AZ-500 and Microsoft 365 security certifications.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, GIAC encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate security controls across cloud environments (AWS primary).
• Administer Wiz to discover assets, identify misconfigurations, and surface findings.
• Manage AWS IAM roles, policies, and permission boundaries for least privilege.
• Monitor and respond to cloud and identity security alerts and incidents.
• Collaborate on incident response and on‑call rotations with teams.
• Develop cloud and identity security metrics, runbooks, and governance artifacts.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and protection of ePHI in a healthcare environment.
