Job summary

MPW Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking a Microsoft Platform Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support cloud, identity, endpoint, and security platforms.

You will own engineering of Intune, Entra ID, M365, and related security capabilities, collaborating with helpdesk, systems engineering, security, and business teams. You will administer policies, deployments, and compliance while developing standards, automation, and documentation to improve security and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in IT.
• 3–5 years administering or engineering Microsoft cloud, endpoint, identity, and security platforms.
• Strong documentation, communication, and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own design, configuration, administration, and continuous improvement of MPW’s Microsoft cloud and endpoint platforms (Intune, Entra ID, M365, security).
• Administer Intune policies, deployments, remediations, Windows updates, Autopilot, Entra join, baselines, and compliance configurations.
• Develop standards, documentation, automation, and processes to improve security, reliability, and supportability.
• Identity Access & Application Integration: Administer Entra ID, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management, roles, groups, authentication methods, and access governance.
• Lead SSO integration for Microsoft and third-party apps (enterprise apps, app registrations, service principals, SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth, claims, provisioning).
• Engineer and support Microsoft App Proxy integrations for secure access to internal/published apps.
• Cloud Security & Trust: Design and support Cloud PKI, SCEP, device certificates, certificate-based auth, lifecycle processes.
• Implement and support Cloud Kerberos Trust (CKT) for on-prem resources from Entra-joined devices.
• Troubleshoot identity, authentication, authorization, federation, certificates, tokens, provisioning, and access-policy issues.
• Compliance, Messaging Security & Operations: Administer Microsoft Purview (retention, eDiscovery, data governance), Abnormal Security phishing simulations (policy, investigation, tuning).
• Provide advanced support, incident investigation, root-cause analysis, change management, and documentation for cloud, endpoint, identity, and security services.
• Lead or participate in platform projects, migrations, tenant changes, security initiatives, and service rollouts.
• Coordinate testing, communications, rollback planning, and vendor/app-owner collaboration.
• Work with helpdesk and infra teams to transfer knowledge and maintain escalation paths.
• Additional Responsibilities: Provide guidance, documentation, and training to helpdesk and stakeholders.
• Participate in on-call escalation for critical services.
