Experis seeks a Cloud HPC Engineer to own a massive-scale distributed compute grid for financial pricing models, operating onsite in Jersey City, NJ. You will run millions of calculations across a colossal cloud grid, ensuring speed, reliability, and seamless integration with quant research and risk teams.

You will design orchestration layers, manage model libraries, and optimize cost and performance while maintaining high availability to meet strict regulatory demands.

Qualifications

• 10 years of professional experience designing and running massive-scale compute grids.
• Expert hands-on experience with AWS or GCP including batch processing, container, and serverless offerings.
• Deep expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong programming skills in C and Python for high-performance computing.
• Experience in finance with Monte Carlo simulations, VaR, or XVA pricing grids is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and manage a massive-scale distributed compute grid on public clouds (AWS/GCP) for pricing models.
• Design and implement the orchestration layer to distribute millions of pricing tasks across CPUGPU cores.
• Deploy, manage, and version control a diverse library of pricing models for distributed execution.
• Monitor, optimize performance, cost, and resource utilization of the cloud grid.
• Collaborate with quantitative teams to integrate models into production grids.
• Engineer data logistics to ensure market data and configurations are available at runtime.
• Ensure the pricing engine is highly available and meets recovery time objectives.
