Job summary

This role is ideal for a highly analytical professional who can quickly learn new processes, manage assignments through completion, and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders. Key duties include supporting governance across AWS and other clouds, onboarding requests, risk issue analysis, and tracking action items.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Risk Analyst, Governance Analyst, or related role.
• Strong risk and issue management experience.
• Experience facilitating discussions with business stakeholders.
• Experience using Jira and/or ServiceNow.
• Understanding of governance, risk, and control (GRC) processes.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to assess risk, identify gaps, and drive issues to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Support cloud governance, risk, and control activities across AWS and other cloud environments.
• Manage cloud onboarding requests ensuring governance requirements and approvals.
• Analyze risk issues, control gaps, and governance activities.
• Track assignments and monitor progress; identify completed vs. outstanding actions.
• Facilitate issue management by evaluating risks and communicating status updates.
• Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and coordinate reviews.
• Prioritize use cases based on business needs and governance requirements.
• Use ServiceNow dashboards and Jira stories to monitor progress.
• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency in governance and onboarding.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and partners.
• Strengthen governance frameworks and risk controls in SaaS environments.
• Support BAU governance and compliance activities using established processes.
