Job summary

Lynker Technologies is hiring a Cloud Native Geospatial Scientist to design and implement Python-based data pipelines for large geospatial datasets. You will work with STAC catalogs, cloud-native formats, and scalable processing to deliver hydrologic and environmental data products.

The role emphasizes building services and pipelines, applying remote sensing and ML where appropriate, and collaborating across platforms and science teams. Boulder, CO on-site.

Qualifications

• Master's in geospatial science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong Python and software habits: Git, testing, code review.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native geospatial formats and AWS; GCP/Azure welcome.
• Solid geospatial fundamentals: projections, raster/vector data, GIS tools.

Responsibilities

• Software development: write and maintain clean Python that runs reliably over large areas.
• Work with large raster and vector datasets using cloud-native formats and storage.
• Collaborate with Platform, Science, Modeling, and Applications teams to build usable data products.
