Job summary

PayPal in Chicago is seeking a Finance Analyst to collaborate with business and finance teams on forecasting, budgeting, month-end closing, financial modeling, and performance analysis. You will support transformation projects, optimize analytics tools and processes, review model performance, and present insights to senior leadership.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree, with strong collaboration skills and the ability to drive process improvements across finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and forecasting processes.
• Review business performance on weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadences.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather inputs and summarize insights.
• Produce executive-level presentations.
• Work with finance and technical teams to drive process and system improvements.
• Facilitate cross-functional discussions and manage expectations.
• Consult with finance leads on issues, risks, and dependencies for initiatives.
• Document risks and assist in mitigating strategies.
